Easy Grapevine Pumpkin (By Lilacs and Longhorns)

I saw this post over at Lilacs and Longhorns blog.  It is so adorable and perfect for fall decorating.  I wanted to share it with you guys because it looks so easy to do.   Click on over for the instructions.  Thanks for the inspiration, Julie!  Be sure and leave her a comment.   http://www.lilacsandlonghorns.com/2013/09/easy-grapevine-wreath.html

Bumble Bee tablescape

We recently had our annual Birthday Bash at our church.  Each month has it's own table and is decorated with a theme.  I chose August and "The Bee-attitudes" theme.  I made a bee hive for the center and sewed up some primitive looking bees also.  I had a lot of fun with this theme and I also plan to use the bee theme for Hilary and John's gender reveal party.  By the way --  I am going to be a grandmother in February!  I am so excited.  I will share how I made the bee hive and the pattern for the bumble bees in another post.  Thanks for visiting.  I hope you have a great weekend.

Flower Arrangements from a casket spray

Remember this casket spray I made not long ago for my sister's mother in law?  Well, we wanted each of her children to have an arrangement with some of the flowers.  So, I took it apart and made four arrangements so they could each have one.  I hope they all like them.  The flowers are  beautiful -- just like their mother.
